Bible Questions

The Future in the pages of the Bible

A loud voice to be heard everywhere.

1. - Rev. 14:6,7. And I saw another angel fly in
the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the fountains of waters.

2. - Rev. 14:8. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

3. - Rev. 14:9-12. And the third angel followed them, saying with aloud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receive the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Q.- Are the last days events affecting the behavior of men and women? --Tony

A.- By Ben.- Profoundly. On one hand millions will come to Christ taking upon themselves the character of Jesus. On the other hand millions also will refuse any resemblance to Jesus, and by choice the only thing left is the ungodly character; and that is full of violence, corruption, and of the braking of God's commandments. The coming end is like the end of Noah's days. "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence." (Genesis 6:11)

Q.- Who are the reapers during the harvest of souls? --Doug

A.- By Tim.- In the parable of the harvest, the reapers were to gather the tares in bundles to burn them, and to gather the wheat into the barn. (Matthew 13:30) When the harvest comes at the Second Coming of Christ, the Son of man is to reap the wheat. (Rev. 14:14) "And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped." (Rev. 14:16) But the gathering of the tares, the wicked, is entrusted to an angel, "And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God." (Rev. 14:19)

Q.- Could you tell me where in the Bible it says we should keep Saturday for the Sabbath? --Bev

A.- By Waldo.- In the Bible in Exodus 20:10 it states The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. And in Luke 23:52-24:3 states that That day was the Preparation and the Sabbath drew near. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandments. Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning....they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. This confirms that Jesus rested on the Sabbath day and rose on the first day of the week - Sunday. Jesus kept the Sabbath day even in death as he was resting from all his work. And we should do the same.

Q.- It sounds to me, that you are post-trib? --Pat

A.- By Ben.- We want to follow the simple schedule of events outlined by God in the Bible. We are living now in the last years of earth history, and Christ is about to finish His intercessory ministry for us in the Judgment. When the last name is sealed in the Book of Life, the seven last plagues begin to fall on earth; that is the great tribulation. (Rev. 16) At the seven last plague Christ appears on the eastern sky with the majesty and glory of God and all the angels. The trumpet of God and the shout of life reach down to the graves of those who rise up together with the saved alive waiting to meet the Lord in the air. (1 Thess. 4:15-17) From there in the air, to the heavenly mansions for a thousand years. (John 14:1-3) During the millennium, Satan and his angels will be alone on a dark, cold, chaotic earth to see the result of their rebellion. (Jer. 4:23-25) All of Satan followers of six thousand years, and all whose names were not in the book of life, are dead on the dust of the ground, reserved for the last judgment and the fire that consumes them, purifies the earth and gives birth to an earth made new for the Kingdom of God. (Rev. 20:15)
